My name is Jason Howard and I do not do this for the money, although we do get paid. My wife, Heather and I do this because we went the alternative officiant route when we tied the knot. It was great, we felt it was real and personal without all the other stuff that went along with a traditional "church" wedding. Absolutely nothing against having your church involved but mandatory counseling for folks that have been married before, seemed like overkill. This is just one example of the myriad of reasons couples chose us to do their vows, either in our home, or at their venue of choice. We have done some very interesting ceremonies, the best ones are discussed i person and that is exactly how we begin every relationship, meeting the couple.
